Rick Good

Rick Good has been composing, arranging and leading the band for the music and dance company Rhythm in Shoes since 1987.  A founding member of the traditional American stringband, The Hotmud Family, he also worked for several years as a full-time actor with The Mad River Theater Works.  Rick is the recipient of Meet-the-Composer Grants from both the New York Council on the Arts and Arts Midwest.  In 1997, his first recorded collection of original songs, entitled Nova Town, was released and was followed in the year 2000 by an evening’s length theatrical production of the same name with Rick’s original script.
